Description

This is a new business development position requiring a hunter mentality.

You will be responsible for targeting SMB market in the Toronto, GTA, Ottawa, Quebec and British Columbia markets.

Through prospecting and call-backs, you will work to gain an understanding of the customer's needs and business priorities. In addition, you will identify and validate opportunities for Pathway Communications, and engage the appropriate Pathway business solutions. You will put into practice sales tactics and strategies and manage your contact database to optimize sales and move opportunities through the sales cycle to a successful close

Responsibilities

* Prospecting for new clients
* Developing new business and long term business relationships
* Creating Proposals
* Marketing the company & its products via telephone and or in person.

Qualifications

* A University degree or equivalent
* A background in technology is preferred;
* Previous experience with business-to-business sales.
* Experience in selling against price
* Self confidence and a strong drive to succeed;
* Solution oriented with strong problem solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
