Applicants are required to have a post secondary education, and a certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized institute in graphic communication or graphic design.
Applicants for this position must have proven skills and expertise in Quark-Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pre-Press, PowerPoint, Flash, Dreamweaver and Adobe InDesign. Applicants must be able to conceptualize and produce animations using Flash and be proficient in desktop publishing, CD-ROM and web design. Excellent written and oral English communication skills are required. French language is an asset.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong project management and interpersonal skills when working with co-workers and clients to provide professional advice on projects through to completion.
Qualifications and Experience: As part of the design and production team it is necessary for the candidate to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:
-Portfolio and proven achievement in Quark-Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Flash, Dreamweaver and Adobe InDesign.
-Self-directed and proactive problem solver
-Works well within a multidisciplinary team
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Exceptional written and spoken skills in English, French is an asset
-Highly organized, motivated and committed
