I am a recent graduate of OISE/University of Toronto in the intermediate/senior (Gr. 7-12) stream, with a Bachelor of Education degree. I have seven years of experience tutoring elementary and high school students in several subjects, and I am qualified with the Ontario College of Teachers to teach secondary Science. My strengths are also in Math and English (essay-writing).


I am offering individualized, one-on-one tutoring for students in Gr. 4-12 in English (reading, writing, and spelling for elementary students; essay-writing and improving writing skills for high school students), Science (up to Gr. 12), and Math (up to Gr. 12), with the following areas of focus during the sessions:


-homework assistance

-reviewing lessons

-test/exam preparation

-study skills


Rates: $25/hour (Gr. 4-8), $30/hour (Gr. 9-12) or $40 for a 2-hour session (Gr. 4-8), $50 for a 2-hour session (Gr. 9-12). Please note that the sessions are one-on-one, unless requested otherwise (e.g., siblings).


Location: Milliken Mills, Unionville, Markham Village, or Anglus Glen libraries/community centres


Availability: Monday and Wednesday (7-9pm); Friday (flexible); Saturday (1pm-4pm); Sunday (8am-3pm)
