Report Editor/Application Processor

Our extremely busy psychotherapy practice is seeking an organized self-manager for our report editor and client application processor role.
The successful candidate will be a self motivated individual with exceptional editing and customer service skills.

This is a freelance position that will require the successful candidate to have access to a home office. Reporting into head office on a regular basis will be mandatory.

Responsibilities:
Report editing:
- EDIT reports and accurate fact checking of confidential information
- Ensure that all reports are free of grammar errors, poor sentence structure and client’s information is exact
- Ensure that all reports assigned are given back to head office for admin process within one business day

Application processing:

- Ensure clients are called within one business day of referral and applications are properly completed and sent to head office in a timely fashion
- Updating database and identify when a call was made and what the status of the client is
- The successful candidate must be comfortable on the phone with different clients and be able to articulate what/how the client is feeling when completing an application on the clients’ behalf.

Qualifications:

- strong editing and writing ability (please submit writing samples along with resume)
- strong command of English language
- proven self manager and able to work independently
- polite telephone manners; strong customer service skills
- reliable and responsible; meet urgent deadlines
- strong time management skills, able to multi-task and prioritize
- Second language an asset but not necessary
- Home office should be equipped with computer, MS word, EXCEL, internet access, email access and telephone (long distance calls will be reimbursed at cost)

The successful candidate should expect to devote approximately 15-20 hours a week editing reports and completing applications.

HOURS: Flexible; work from home office. Will be asked to come into office for weekly meetings
