Spine Conditions That Cause Back Pain!!

Back pain affects 90% of People at some time in their lives and is the leading cause of visits to the doctor. Low back pain is the most prevalent cause of disability in people under age 45.

Spinal vertebrae are held together by muscles, tendons and ligaments. Between the vertebrae are discs, which act as "shock absorbers" and prevent the vertebrae from hitting one another when you walk, run or jump. They also allow your spine to twist, bend and extend. Since the lower back is the hinge between the upper and lower body and carries most of your weight, it is especially vulnerable to injury and is the site of most reported back pain. When lower back pain strikes, we become acutely aware of just how much we rely on a flexible, strong back.

If you are concerned you are developing, or have started showing signs of chronic back pain, take a moment to call us to book a complimentary consultation with one of our specialist at 416-481-1936

Canadian Spinal Decompression Therapy provides help of back pain through a few different procedures depending on the spinal condition associated with the back pain

What is Non-Surgical Spinal Disc Decompression?
Non-surgical spinal disc decompression is a non-invasive treatment for acute and chronic spinal pain associated with herniated, ruptured, bulging or degenerative discs and sciatic leg pain or spinal stenosis associated with these conditions. It is safe and effective without the normal risks associated with invasive procedures such as injections, anesthesia or surgery. Spinal decompression works through a series of 15 one minute alternating decompression (using a logarithmic decompression curve) and relaxation cycles with a total treatment time of 30 minutes. During the decompression phase the pressure in the disc is reduced and a vacuum type of affect is produced on the nucleus pulposis. At the same time nutrition is diffused into the disc allowing the annulus fibrosis to heal. Very rarely is the nerve root compressed from the herniated disc and usually the back and leg pain associated with these conditions is a result of irritation to the nerve root sleeve by the inflammatory chemicals that are released as a result of inflammation in the disc.

treatment is extremely effective in increasing nutrition to the disc and allowing it to heal on its own.

This is a non-surgical, drug-free treatment for low back and neck pain and associated neurological symptoms. Many people have found good results from the pain associated with degenerative joint disease, herniated or bulging discs, spinal stenosis, facet syndrome, "pinched" nerves, and other spinal afflictions. If neck or low back symptoms have not resolved with other types of treatment, spinal decompression therapy should be considered.
