We are a start-up new media radio venture and have multiple openings for on-air talent/presenters, producers, DJ's, and one for a program director!
**Must have (common for all positions):
- Huge personality and a sense of humor
- Exceptional people skills
- Should have a passion for music and knowledge of these genres – R'n'B, Hip-hop, current billboard hits, Bollywood, Bhangra, Urban, Soca/Reggae, & House

**On-Air Talent/Presenter**
Role description: This is a part-time/swing shift role, reporting to the station manager.
We're looking for someone who:
- Should be able to relate/understand and be in touch with our target audience (15-35 age group youth living in Toronto and the GTA) and their lifestyle.
- Has excellent verbal communication skills and a larger-than-life, and original personality
- Is a trend-setter and is current with all things cool, and urban.
- Is able to work with minimal supervision
- Is sociable, must enjoy the club scene, and go out to social and promotional events, parties, etc.
- Would be willing to become an outstanding ambassador for the brand.
- Should be an avid blogger
- Previous experience is an asset but not mandatory

**Producer**
Role description: We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions for this role that reports to the station manager.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is creative, and able to generate and research ideas for show concepts, content programming, and copy-writing in house promotions
- Overlooks and develops content, selects music appropriate for the station and audience
- Compiles play-lists, produces pre-production briefings for presenters, reporters, technical staff and other contributors
- Checks that copyrights are cleared and that output meets legal and compliance guidelines
- Responds to audience feedback
- Some previous experience is required

**Program Director**
Role description: We have one opening for this role that reports to the station manager.
We're looking for someone who:
- Will be responsible for working with the management team to develop and execute annual programming, promotions, and advertising plans.
- Will be accountable and responsible for directing and managing the programming and advertising content
- Ensuring that each part of the station's programming portrays the intended image per the brand vision.
- Audition new talent, and make decisions such as which songs get airplay, how much and when.
- Previous experience is highly desired.

Role description: We have multiple openings for this on-request/swing-shift based role that reports to the station manager.
We're looking for someone who:
- Must know how to operate DJ mixer, turntables or CDJ's
- Knows how to mix (beat match/scratch) one of the following music genres – R'n'B, hip-hop, bhangra, soca/reggae
- Must have up to date music – having exclusive mixes and music production skills is a bonus
- Previous experience an asset but not mandatory
