Looking for several actors for a short student film. We are students at Toronto Media and Film College and are working on our final film project in which we have a professional special effects technician to help us carry out a car explosion that is part of the script.
Characters:
ANDY (early 50s - early 60s)
is an elderly white male who has become obsessed with his own pranoid theories/truths relating to the existence of alien life and ideas of a global, government cover up. He is obsessive in his ways, and goes about his days in a flustered manner while consistently displaying moments of absolute sweetness and absolute raging lunacy.
SOPHIE (early 20s)
is Andy's tough but sweet granddaughter who has develeoped the unfortunate routine of constantly rescuing her grandfather from drunken rants off the bar room floor. While she comes accross as distant, cold and a bit uncaring, she is ultimately a sweet heart when push comes to shove and will in fact always be there to care and nurture for her deemed "crazy" grand father.
BARTENDER (late 20s - early 30s)
is a "bruiser" of a guy, fairly built and has no patience for drunken, raving conspiracy theorists. He simply wants Andy out of his bar before he's forced to take physical action.
