Character Description:
JAY, 17-years-old, has grown up in the community housing area but knows the game. - is a “Graffiti” artist that’s trying to go legit.
ALEX, a friend of JAY, is 16 years old going on 30. - is a know it all. - a “Bomber” and a “Tagger”. - Spray's paint like an alley tomcat.
REQUIRED:
2 Actors of at least 18 years of age , or (if under 18, accompanied by a parent to the audition and shoot dates). Must be able to play 16-17 year-old, all ethnicities welcome.
No acting experience or graffiti experience needed. Just play a kid in the ‘hood. This is a non-gender-specific character. (audition/play the role, you get the part)
Script (sides) will be available to those that qualify for the audition a few days beforehand to rehearse.
Non-Union, Non-Profit means No-pay. But you will receive a DVD, film credits linked to the sponsor and charity, plus a crew meal on the shoot days. A good opportunity to showcase some basic acting skills, and work with some industry mentors.
