We are seeking a seasoned professional to be part of our dynamic organization and to provide strategic leadership for our Toronto Aveda Institute.
• Apply advanced business development skills to ensure the success of the Aveda Institute
• Oversee budget and direct expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner
• Create and present basic financial reports regularly to Collega Directors
• Develop and implement management policy and procedures
• Analyze operational issues on a regular basis assess the impact on the various locations and Determine their financial impact
• Develop and implement organizational strategies, including the obtainment of fiscal goals, the determination of optimum student enrolment, and future business
plan
• Assure compliance with all legislative directives pertaining to the status of the Aveda Institute as a registered training institution in the province of operation
• Multi-unit salon or education management
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of rapid change and shifting priorities
• Proven leadership and people management skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Beauty / Cosmetics industry experience preferred
