A leading Canadian technology company is currently recruiting for a Senior Account Manager. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Senior Account Manager will structure winning proposals and direct sell and/or account manage software and hardware solutions to an assigned sales territory covering a few US states and Eastern Canada. This position will require a strong emphasis on lead generation and daily prospecting to enable achievement of business objectives and quarterly revenue targets. The Senior Account Manager will prepare proposals for new and existing customers, present to and negotiate with executive level clients, and close opportunities with a high level of customer satisfaction.
As the ideal candidate, you are highly motivated with a proven track record in outside sales, with at least four to ten years experience in software and capital equipment sales. You have excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and computer skills, as well as an understanding of complex system sales. Software and/or wireless communications experience is preferred. This position will be a home office based role. You must be bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken. Preference will be for someone based in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto or Ottawa.
