Our client is seeking a Category Analyst for their Wal-Mart account. The perfect candidate will come from a CPG company and have 4-8 years experience as an Analyst, with a solid understanding of Retail Link. You will have a proven track record in retail sales analysis and making recommendations based on your findings. You will have strong communication skills and are able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
· Evaluate forecasts and perform variance analysis
· Prepare detailed sales and forecast reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis
· Drive the sales of your category and provide insight into market trends based on analysis
· Update systems to ensure a proper reflection of each category
· Provide updates to internal staff and retails
Qualifications:
· 4 to 8 years sales analyst experience
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Ability to analyze sales reports for major retailer
· Solid computer skills (especially high level of proficiency in database and spreadsheet applications)
