In this role, the incumbent is responsible for designing, planning, installing, configuring, maintaining and enhancing our back office operating systems and applications. The preferred candidate will have between 3 and 6 years of network infrastructure experience including Citrix, Exchange, Active Directory, communications and remote-access technologies. Please note that some cross-border travel is required.
Principle Accountabilities:
Analyzing and resolving problems associated with server hardware and applications software
Detecting, diagnosing and reporting server and network related problems
Having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performing a variety of tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
University/college degree in a related area
Minimum 3 years LAN administration experience in an enterprise environment
Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 2003 server
Experience in Citrix. CCEA, CCIA certification would be considered an asset
Experience in Managing Active Directory in an enterprise environment
Experience in Microsoft Exchange 2007 would be considered an asset
Experience in Microsoft Windows 2008 would be considered an asset
Experience in running a VMWare ESX environment would be considered an asset
Knowledge of Admin scripting, Patch Management, Desktop Management
Demonstrated problem solving, learning, communication and organization skills
Self motivated, goal oriented and able to work well under pressure
