Position Title: Sr. AVL QA Analyst

Duties and Scope of Work
The QA Test Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the project team adheres to Quality Assurance Processes, Standards & Procedures. The QA Test Analyst will also review Business Requirements & System Specifications for clarity and completeness. This position will also be responsible for the development of Test Plans for the validation of GPS Equipment, Wireless LAN Data Network, Wide Area Radio Network, AVL Gateway. It also includes executing functional testing. integration testing, end-to-end testing regression testing and final acceptance testing. In addition you will be required to develop Test Plans for Redundancy, Configuration, Backup and Recovery testing, Load, Stress, and Performance &Security Testing
Special Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years experience in system testing.
Minimum of 5 years testing GPS/AVL systems
Solid understanding of System Development Life Cycle
Experience creating QA strategies for project life cycle
Knowledge of testing methodologies for Wireless & GPS infrastructures
Solid experience in developing & writing Technical Test Plans and Record of Test Results.
Knowledge and experience in tracking problems and defects.
Solid experience in executing testing and analyzing the results.
Expert in quality assurance, test planning, and test execution.
Experience in system integration testing
Experience in real time systems with radio communication systems and Global Positioning Systems.
Strong knowledge of Oracle and good ability to develop stored procedures
Must have extensive experience using Automated Test tools; experience with Compuware Test tools an asset
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Must have strong analytical skills
Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Degree.
