Information Security Analyst - Bermuda
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Security Professional to join our client, a leading financial services organization in beautiful Bermuda. The successul candidate will work in a team environment and be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Managing IT security systems including the identification, investigation and resolution of any security issues
- Assessing existing infrastructure, policies and procedures, communicate risk exposure and make recommendations to improve security
- Participate in designing and completing vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits
- Deploying, integrating and configuring new security solutions and/or making enhancements to existing systems
Requirements include:
- A University degree or College diploma (Computer Science or related field preferred)
- CISSP or GIAC certification required, other technical certifications in addition would be an asset
- A minimum of 5 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in a Security Analyst role - preferably within the banking/financial services industry.
- Experience with IDS/IPS, web scanning, security assessment and vulnerability scanning procedures
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Security, Unix/Linux, TCP/IP and other network admin protocols
This unique opportunity involves relocating to Bermuda for an initial term of 2-3+ years (renewable subject to work permit approval) therefore applicants should be highly portable, able to relocate in a relatively short timeframe, and be adaptable to new living environments such as Bermuda.
This role offers a competitive and nearly tax-free (4.75% payroll tax) compensation package paid in USD equivalent. Relevant work permits, relocation assistance, temporary housing and health benefits are also offered.
