Microsoft Infrastructure Architect
This is a well established, highly professional organization - their consultants currently manage or co-manage the international computer network operations and facilities of many of the premier corporations in Bermuda (international insurance and reinsurance companies, banks, fund administration, accounting firms, law firms etc).
On their behalf, we are currently seeking a high-level Technical Consultant with SME level expertise in Exchange and Active Directory to join their professional services group in Bermuda.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing and reviewing project proposals to determine goals, deliverables, time frame and procedures for completion
Lead clients through business analysis/problem definition process toward architecting relevant solutions to resolve IT/business issues
Develop client relationships along with the sales team in order to drive revenue and solve identified business problems
Assist the sales team in presales activities including solution envisioning, scope definition, SOW/proposals, vetting of technical designs and high-level project planning
Provide a point of escalation for support, risk management and quality control
Develop and maintain technical and project documentation
Applicants should have experience and expertise in the following areas:
Designing and implementing Exchange in multi-state and multi-location environments
Deploying Exchange Server 2007 in a Windows 2008 AD environment
Capacity Planning - designing fault tolerance for environments in the range of 5,000 users
Strong project management and customer management skills
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services environment
Bachelors degree in a related field
Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
Required certifications (minimum):
MCITP in Exchange 2007, MCSE
Project Management - PMP
VMWare VCP
Other relevant technical, IT governance or project management certifications would be an asset.
This unique opportunity involves relocating to Bermuda for an initial term of 2-3+ years (renewable subject to work permit approval. Due to the international move required, applicants should be highly portable, able to relocate in a relatively short time frame, and be adaptable to the unique living environment offered in Bermuda.
Our client offers a competitive and nearly tax-free compensation package consisting of base plus incentive - paid in USD equivalent with only 4.75% tax. Relevant work permits, relocation assistance, temporary housing and health benefits are also offered.
