The Opportunity .
This job directly contributes to Urban Barn’s success by managing our Laird store’s overall operations. In particular, leading a team of store associates to achieve strong store financial performance, making staffing decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a clean and visually appealing store environment.

Qualifications
• Progressively responsible retail experience (1-3 years)
• Management experience (1 year)
• Experience with retail POS systems and computer operations

• Demonstrates a customer-oriented attitude by training, coaching and holding sales associates accountable for delivering excellent customer service
• Drives store results by ensuring smooth store operations and motivating the store team to meet store and organizational objectives
• Effectively resolves customer and operational issues using strong problem-solving skills
• Reviews the store environment and business indicators to identify problems and opportunities for improvement. Pro-actively responds effectively to identified opportunities
• Drives the implementation of company programs and policies by instructing and motivating the store team to maintain established standards
• Manages with integrity and honesty; sets a positive example for the store team
• Ensures that required operational paperwork and procedures are completed to established standards
