Production Manager Fashion Apparel Industry

This design house produces a retail line of apparel mainly focused on the Collegiate and Resort markets. This brand built its success in the market using inspirations drawn from the wakeboarding and snowboarding lifestyle. With over a decade of industry presence, they are now working with some of the most amazing clients and have introduced them to exciting brands. They represent some of the most recognized corporations and hold an exclusive license to the logos. With a passion for building brands through apparel and merchandise they have also become environmentally aware and have transferred the “green” thinking into new and exciting ways as seen in their fabric choices. With the business growing at the rate it is, there is now a need for a Production Manager to join the team.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar or same role
• Experience with embellishments or silk screening
• Experience with dealing with over-seas factories
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience in managing 2-10 employees
• Graphic experience with Illustrator or Photoshop a plus
• Cantonese/ Mandarin a plus (not required, but a bonus if you are bilingual)
• Experience with executing shipping schedules

A typical day will consist of overseeing the production process, and drawing up a production schedule. Ensuring that production is cost effective. Making sure timelines and deadlines are met. Dealing with the factories in India and China. Dealing with inventory. Managing your warehouse team. Working closely with the design team and all divisions of the office.

Salary $35K - $45K, Vacation (2 weeks after probation), Employee discount on products and tickets to Special Media/Client Events.
