Remember that 'death row' Hamilton Animal Control that is (still) killing animals (mostly cats), healthy or not, within 72 hours?
The one that has no public adoption program? The one that rescues in Toronto have been trying to save? (cats)?
The one that kills about 6,000 cats a year..... MORE than Toronto....

Well - they are reviewing their bylaws and ask for public input VERY SOON: Nov 17, 2009

One angry making item is that they propose:

*** BANNING FEEDING OF FERAL CATS: A prohibition against the feeding of wildlife (other than song birds, humming birds, etc.) due to the risk of wildlife becoming “habitualized” and a nuisance or threat.
In other words, they will punish anyone who feeds stray cats, much like what another place tried to:
WOW! Beverly Hills,Ca. wants to JAIL 65 year old woman for helping feral cats: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BgXiBkgbzw YouTube Video !!!

*** PLEASE: Get involved. Speak for the animals. Now. ***
