I am posting here to get any advice from well seasoned musicians.

My questions are...

-How do pro-musicians set up sequenced (already programmed music) on a synth for the drummer and the other players in the band to follow along on time, for example, do all the players have a click track or just the drummer?

-And how do they distribute the click track so that only the musicians hear the click and not the audience?

-Are there any programs or devices that aid in incorporating sequenced music when playing with a live band? Other than a keyboardist.
