I’m a 22 year old bassist who’s been playing for about 10 years. I jam with a guitarist who’s been playing since he was a little kid. Our influences include rock and funk.

Basically we’re aiming to start a completely fresh, *original* rock band with the potential to conquer the world. Something groovy, powerful, energetic, danceable, rock-out-able… music that gets people hitting the floor but also something you can sit back and respect on an intellectual level as well. We need a singer who can help take our music to the next level, but also contribute ideas to the songwriting process as well. If you play an instrument, that’s cool too. We’ve got a lot of material, but we’re certainly open to flesh out other song ideas.

You can check out some of our music at www.myspace.com/samplesdave , but please keep in mind that these are just rough, unfinished samples that still need a lot of work, as well as some real drumming (my guitarist plays drums on these). It merely gives you an idea of the energy we’re trying to spurt from every orifice.
