Neuroscientists at the University of Toronto & The Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest Centre are looking for expert musicians (RCM grade 8, ARCT, bachelors degree [in progress or completed], college diploma, or equivalent) who are over 30 years old to participate in studies about music and hearing. Studies take 2-4 hours, and you will be reimbursed $10/hour of your time. Usually studies require listening and making judgments about sounds, and sometimes involve non-invasive neuro-imaging techniques such as electro-encephalography (EEG), magneto-encephalography (MEG), or functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
