Straight to the point:
We're a 4-piece band composed of early twenties' university students. We've been jamming together for about 5 years, and we have a decent sized catalouge of polished originals and covers that we perform regularly around the toronto indie music scene. We've played at places such as the El Mocambo, Hard Rock Cafe, Riellys, the Reverb, York U and UofT.
Our sound funky, with reggae and progressive influences. Think RHCP, Dredg, Mars Volta, old school funk and blues. Take a listen at our brand new albiet rudimentary myspace: www.myspace.com/sidenoteband
We feel like we're growing a bit stale, we're looking for a new member, preferably a singer to add a new dimension to our songwriting and stage presence. We write awesome music, but we lack in the area of lyrics and vocals. That's were you come in. Chemistry is important, make sure you like the way we sound.
We don't make much money and we all have busy schedules (we jam about twice a week). We're up in North York, in the 'burbs.
