I was walking west on Dundas in front of the police station, and your cute self was cycling by. We made eye contact and I smiled. You yelled something, and it sounded to me like you called me a torturer. I hope I was wrong, but if I'm right, I'd like to encourage you to resist judging so fiercely without knowing anything about a person. Yes, I was wearing a fur hat. It is probably 80 years old. Instead of contributing to ecologically unsustainable synthetic materials production and/or the exploitation of workers in sweatshops, I chose to buy a warm, well-made 'recycled' vintage hat. I eat a vegan/local/organic/sustainable diet. I donate monthly to Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, and the Suzuki Foundation. I strive to make the most ethical choices possible in my work and lifestyle. So to be judged so harshly based solely on my headgear seems truly unfair.
Speaking of headgear, you should wear a helmet. Take care of yourself, and be well.
