Position: Senior Design Consultant
Job Summary: Working as part of a collaborative team of design professionals to leverage the unique blend of integrated resources available at Mayhew.
Location: Thornhill, ON (404/Hwy 7)
Reporting to: Director of Design
Start date: Immediate
We are currently looking to fill the position of full-time Senior Designer. You will be working primarily in the GTA. To apply, you should possess an energetic, self-motivated approach to your career, with a minimum of 10 years North American experience in either corporate commercial design or architecture. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, creativity, problem solving and technical application abilities are a must. Designers must possess related degrees/diplomas in interior and/or architectural design; NCIDQ Certified and Registered Members of ARIDO are a must. Technical knowledge of AutoCAD 2009 is a must and technical knowledge of Revit Architecture 2009 is preferred.
The successful candidate will also:
- Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies, interior design and furniture concepts and practices, and applied research in the field of office design and productivity, environmentally friendly design and project delivery.
- And form part of an integrated Architecture & Interior design team and participates in all administrative aspects of the operations of the office as it relates to project delivery.
