MARKETING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
to be a part of our Marketing Team in our Head Office located in Mississauga.
We are looking for a team player that takes pride in administrative excellence. You understand the importance of meeting deadlines, are proficient in establishing processes and are always one step ahead. Ideally you have an interest in marketing, as there is great potential for this position to change and help grow with the department.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
· Research, book and traffic grand opening advertising including ROP and radio, and produce and distribute grand opening press releases and promotional materials.
· Assemble and distribute new store signs and material kits.
· Assist in the monitoring of POP quantities and initiate timely reprints.
· Assist in handling of local store marketing requests and fulfillment.
· Assist in preparation, production and distribution of promotional marketing materials.
· Complete flyer lift analysis summaries.
· Maintain, code and submit invoices for payment
· Maintain store profile listings and gather, track and file competitive flyers.
· Assist in investigation and resolution to flyer issues and distribution.
· Assist with merchandise sample issues and other flyer production tasks.
· Assist with coordination and planning of marketing store events.
You have 2 – 3 years administrative experience preferably in a marketing support capacity, combined with a college diploma in marketing or administration. You thrive in a busy and exciting environment, have the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. You are ambitious, and willing to learn in a fast paced environment. You have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as advanced computer skills in Excel and Word, and you are proficient with the Internet. You are detail oriented, organized and have strong time management skills. Preference will be given to Bilingual (French/English) applicants.
