What is Business Analyst definition by IIBA BABOK 2.0?

A Business Analyst is a person who performs business analysis activities, no matter what their job title or organization role may be. Business Analyst practitioners include not only people with the job title of the business analyst, but may also include business system analyst, system analyst, requirement engineer, process analyst, product manager, product owner, enterprise analyst, business architect, management consultant and any other person who performs the tasks described in the BABOK Guide, including those who also perform related disciplines such as Project Management, Software development, Quality assurance and interaction design. BABOK 2.0

To achieve success in this competitive business environment, organizations are emphasizing to have business analysis which is the set of tasks, knowledge, and techniques required to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems. This can lead businesses in the proper direction. The person who carries out this task is called a Business Analyst or BA.
Overview

This certification course will introduce the role and responsibilities of business analyst according to standard describe by International Institute of Business Analyst, and teach business analysis skills and modeling techniques that are needed in analyzing and developing system application. It incorporates problem-solving techniques, requirement analysis, and requirement gathering and analysis techniques.
