The Serve4it’s Client in Public Sector is requiring the services of a MAXIMO Technical Analyst
Position Title: MAXIMO Technical Analyst
Project: MAXIMO Upgrade
Start Date: ASAP
Anticipated Duration: 64 Weeks with possible of extension
Rates: Open
Duties and Scope of Work
This position will provide the necessary technical expertise required for the day to day requriements of the Maximo upgrade project.
Incumbent will ensure robust and timely delivery of technical solutions involving the Maximo system and other technologies as necessary to meet the strategic goals of the upgrade project.
Responibilities include:
- Perfoming all technical tasks required to upgrade the Maximo application.
This includes :
- Maximo appplication installation,configuration, development and trouble shooting.
- Oracle database intallation, configuration and trouble shooting
- IBM Websphere server installation, configuration, administration and trouble
shooting.
- Data migration: Developing data migration strategies and data migration scripts/procedures to migrate data from Maximo versions 4 and 5 to Maximo version 7.
- Responsible for all installation, configuration, customisation, programming and
integration activities related to the Maximo upgrade.
Special Skills & Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in the following aspects of Maximo v7
- Application configuration and development
- Maximo System administration
- Maximo Java classes and Maximo Business Objects customization
- Maximo Workflow Designer
- Maximo Application Designer
- Maximo Migration Manager
- Maximo Integration Manager
- Cron tasks and Email listener configuration
- Demonstrable experience in the J2EE architecture and proven ability to design, develop and deliver applications utilizing various components of the technology;
- Skilled in a data migration software including PL/SQL, SQL Loader, Maximo Intergration Manager
-Knowledge of Syclo Mobile Handheld Software is required
- Advanced level knowledge of maximo schemas / tables / relationships is a must
- University/Community College degree in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
