Position Title: System Integrator (webMethods & Lagan product support specialist)
Start Date: ASAP
Anticipated Duration: 6 Months and possible for 6 months extension

Description of Assignment/Scope of Work
Working as a member of the integration team for the Company project, the key responsibility is to build adapters and other integration components for integrating the Company new Lagan ECM solution with existing work-order systems. The System Integrator will report to the IT Integration Lead. S/he may also be used to troubleshoot incidents within the 311 Contact Centre and recommend or resolve issues as required.
Background / Duties:
1) Integration planning
a) Refine the integration scope and contribute to discussions on overall approach for integration.
b) Estimate and confirm project task requirements to contribute to developing project schedule and managing project risk
2) Integration Architecture & Design
a) Validate the architecture & design has been integrated into the development efforts
3) As a member of Integration Development Team:
a) Perform day to day development and testing of integration components
b) Track issues and progress in the design, implementation and testing of the integration components and their tasks that are their responsibility
c) Provide written status reports on their tasks to the Integration Lead.
4) Provide support to 311’s Contact Centre operations as required.
Qualifications:
It is important that the Services be undertaken by a technology expert who can demonstrate specific knowledge of, and experience in performing similar work for projects of comparable nature, size and scope as detailed below.
(a) Experience:
(i) University degree in computer science or related discipline, and considerable years of 'progressively more responsible' experience working on large-scale information technology projects or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience
(ii) Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and protocols including Java (web and client/server), Service Oriented Architecture, Java J2EE, XML, XSLT, XML-schema, SOAP, BPEL.
(iii) Demonstrated experience in being a member of a technical teams performing integration projects, utilizing webMethods Enterprise Application Integration technologies
(iv) Demonstrated experience in supporting Lagan’s ECM and related product suite
(v) In-depth expertise in producing UML diagrams
(vi) Experience working in a large enterprise environment with integrated enterprise solutions such as workflow management, business process management, business rules management, document management, content management, customer relations management, enterprise application integration and portal solutions
(vii) Extensive experience in developing architecture artefacts for large government organizations
(viii) Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities
(b) Technical Capabilities:
(i) 5+ years experience working as integration team member
(ii) 3+ years experience working as a member of an integration team using webMethods integration technologies, designing and implementing inter-application messaging using canonical data-models, XML Schema, with fault tolerance and error handling
(iii) 4+ working with webMethods Integration Server and Broker
(iv) 1+ year experience with integration on municipal CRM projects
(v) 1+ year experience with Lagan ECM product suite
(vi) 3+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL programming
(vii) 3+ years of solution design for Java/J2EE, preferably with IBM Websphere
(viii) 2+ years experience architecting solutions using Service Oriented Architecture
Deliverables:
1. Integration Components to back end service delivery systems - Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation
2. Support and incident resolution for 311 Contact Centre technologies (Lagan ECM, Verint/Witness, Symon) as required
