NIGHT AUDITOR-PART TIME
2 OVERNIGHTS PER WEEK (11PM-7PM)
Drake Hotel seeks an experienced Night Auditor looking to work in a busy and dynamic boutique hotel. Individual holds exceptional communication and customer service skills with an affinity for exceeding guest expectations. Must have extensive experience with hotel reservations software, balancing and reconciliation of daily hotel transactions, yield management an asset. Opportunity exists to round out this opportunity to a full-time position, with additional evening shifts available (3/5PM-11PM).
Responsibilities:
- Perform audit and provide accurate, timely information and reports on hotel revenue balance to Hotel Manager and Accounting Dept
- Ensure safety and security of guests/patrons/staff and property is maintained at all times
- Oversee room inventory availability on GDS, ensuring property optimizes yield management goals as determined by Hotel Manager
- Execute personable and efficient check in/out services and reservation bookings while adhering to hotel policies and standards
Qualifications:
- Previous night audit experience (at least 2 years) will bring candidates to the fore
- Hotel experience is a big plus, but we will train the right person
- Ability to deal with staff and guests with patience, tact and diplomacy is required
- Knowledge of basic PC, hotel reservation software is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Ability to multi-task, remain calm and maintain mental and physical stamina is a fast paced and demanding environment is required
