Job Description:
- Selling and creating room reservations
- Fulfilling guest correspondence by telephone, facsimile and e-mail
- Daily reservation reporting
- Creating group bookings and subsequent reservations
- Handling guest inquiries, including complaints
- Providing guest service as per hotel standards
Job Requirements:
- Good command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal
- Additional languages spoken would be an asset
- Must be neat, professional and well groomed
- Previous Reservations experience or other hotel employment would be an asset
- Keyboarding skills would be an asset (60 - 70 words per minute)
- Previous experience with the Maestro computer system would be an asset
- Must be organized and possess strong time management skills
- Must be attentive to details
- Must be able to be seated in front of a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be guest service focused
- College diploma or University degree from a Hospitality related program would be an asset
- Must be able to work shifts - days, evenings, weekends and holidays
