All 12,000 tickets for this show at the Milwaukee Auditorium, on the first tour, sold out within a week. Security was very tight around the arena and Police had difficulty restraining the fans at the airport. During the show the Red Cross posted 18 people around the venue, armed with ammonia and other inhalants, and treated at least 10 fainting girls. Beatlemania had begun.
