Stocking Duties:

Receives, unloads and unpacks products and counts, weighs and sorts them according to company receiving procedures
Ensures displays are full at all times and shelves are stocked with good quality products in all sections including, the Front, Middle, Outside, Veggie, Cashier Counter, Reduced and Side Sections according to Kin's procedures

Maintenance & Housekeeping:

Maintains the cleanliness of the store according to Kin`s policy:

Directs employees and leads by example to clean premises including front and back of store, eating area, office, washroom, floor, cooler, kitchen and cutting table. Monitors and maintains maintenance log records
Cleans the cash counter area
Performs other housekeeping duties as required

Rack Attack, the car rack and hitch centre is hiring for the summer.

Are you sports-minded with a good mechanical aptitude. Are you comfortable working around cars? Do you enjoy working in a lively and upbeat atmosphere?

Then Rack Attack is the place to use your skills this summer.

At Rack Attack:
You will use your strong people skills to help people choose the best products to help them carry their outdoor gear (bikes, canoes, kayaks and related cargo).
You will use your good mechanical aptitude to install the racks.
You will use your excellent communications skills to demonstrate how their new racks will transport their gear easily and safely on their cars and complete the retail experience using our point of sales system.

Employment is full time (35-40 hours per week) in the summer season from mid-April though August and does require working some weekends. Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $11 to $12 per hour. In addition, there is a bonus program that will increase that rate once the successful candidate completes the training.

A valid drivers licence is a plus.
Experience working on bikes or skis is also a plus.

Specific Duties
- Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, and other forms of payment
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change
- Greets customers as they enter the store
- Directs customers to appropriate sales associates or service technicians
- Assists with stock replenishment and general store activities as required
- Cover the sales floor when required

Position Overview: Merchandising Field Supervisor - GTA

As a Field Supervisor, you will take ownership of your assigned region by modeling the Pareto-Field Division core values and Mission statement. You will be responsible for maintaining service standards by acting as a proactive problem solver to ensure and client and Pareto satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Directly reports to the Field Manager (FM)
Provide feedback to Field Managers and HR as required
Accountable for all in store execution and on time completion through preplanning and the cost effective deployment of merchandisers using Client First value
Recruit new merchandisers in conjunction with HR following current National recruiting procedures
Train merchandisers on project execution including but not limited to pre-planning work, test stores, in store execution, reporting documents and web reporting.
Oversee and manage merchandiser work, provide assistance and support to the field.
Validate the accuracy of online entries and ensure corrections are made as required.
Validate the accuracy of the Merchandising Report (Payroll report)
Validate & submit merchandiser's expenses on a timely basis
Responsible for performance management of merchandisers in region
Conduct a performance appraisal with each merchandiser annually
Responsible for additional duties as assigned by Field Manager.

Competencies and skills:

Relevant work experience field merchandising projects or equivalent
The person must be based in the GTA
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work with deadlines
Sense of ownership, autonomous
Resourceful, problem solver, decision maker and results oriented
Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
Respect of confidentiality of both employee and client information
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
