We are looking to cast for male and female roles in both productions. The roles are as follows:
I Can't Imagine Tomorrow
'One'- Is a strong female lead whom is hard headed, determined, and committed to coping with her illness and self induced isolation from the rest of the world. She is described as Middle-aged and slender. We will consider actresses that look between 25-30.
'Two'- is a loving yet fearful man who is committed to 'One', his only friend. He suffers a speech impediment causing him difficulty in completing his sentences, and also from Depression. He is described as Middle-aged and of an average build. He may even look unimposing. We will consider actors that look between the age of 25 -30.
I Rise in Flames, Cried the Phoenix
D.H. Lawrence- A fictional depiction of writer D.H. Lawrence. Lawrence is a middle-aged man dying of T.B. Though he is frail and emaciated he possess a fiery inner strength, vitality and enthusiasm for life. He is a driven and highly opinionated man whose ideas have made him the center of controversy. We will consider actors who look between the age of 30-50.
Frieda Lawrence (Von Richthofen)- A fictional depiction of Frieda Lawrence, D.H. Lawrence's wife. Frieda is described as a bigger woman in her early 50's. She is a caring woman who has a rocky relationship with her husband. Though she takes a great deal of abuse from Lawrence she is willing and able to put him in his place anytime she wants. She is a woman who both admires her husband's vitality and possesses great patience and courage. We will consider actors who look between the age of 30-50.
Bertha (Brett)- A young English gentlewoman. An Admirer of D.H. Lawrence who is sent to London to oversee his painting exhibition. She is an intellectual woman who may have been his lover. This is suggested by Frieda's temperament and her interactions with Lawrence. She is a passionate woman of slender to medium build who cares deeply for Lawrence. We will consider actors that look between the ages of 20-30.

We are waiting to hear from the festival about space before we can make a financial offer, however there will be limited financial compensation, most likely in the form of an honorarium ranging between 300-500 dollars.

I've got 13 originals and I'm looking to form an actual group, because the tunes keep getting me booked, and going solo is starting to wear itself out.
