"1974 sprint veloce: This is a perfectly restored vespa done by one of the best scooter shops in Toronto, Motoretta, which is Vespa Canada.The bike was built for the president of vespa canada, and i was lucky enough to buy it.It has 766km.The bike has a race built malossi 210 kit,ported and chamferd, reed induction, 30mm tm flatside carb, a taffspeed pipe, and all bearings, gears, and all internals were replaced, nothing was spared, its all new and of high quality.The frame is painted in a nice white and all the metal pieces and hardware were acid etched, to the same effect that gun barrels are done to.leave it with a beatiful patina of vintage, not rust.It has continental zippy tires, a newer style front fork assembly, new gas tank, cables, speedo, seat etc. all new. The theme of this build was sleek smooth and simple. Little things were smoothed out the side stand mounting holes are not visible from the top of floorboard section giving it a super smooth appearance. the list goes on and on. Remember this bike wasn't built by me in my garage at home . it was built by professionals in a state of the art building,with quality tools and certified technicians, fabricators, and it was built for a very important person so no expense was spared.The bike is super fast and super sexy. I would like to sell my never used REAL carbon fiber windshield. Fits only to 2004-2006 Yamaha R1.
I never tried it on but if you buy it I'll let you to do that before pay!
Also, if you have cracked motorcycle fairing or whatever kind of plastic just let me now and I will fix it, I'm a plastic welder freak with lots of experience.
I recently got a slow puncture in the rear of my 1974 Honda CT70 and paid $72 (dent in my budget) to take it to a local bike shop as I have no clue how to install the tube and do not have bead breakers and tire irons etc.......
I am a poor student and cannot afford to take my bike, which is my sole form of transportation to the bike shop again.
However I can compensate you with beer or do your tax return or something...even cash if its reasonable...

I'm the original purchaser and the bike has been garage kept for about 90% of my ownership.
it was imported from italy in about 2002, i bought it 'as is' from a bloke in markham who owned
one of the first vespa shops in the gta...(the dealership has since shut down) - i never transferred the ownership,
so you might have to do some nancy drew / hardy boys detective work to sort out the ownership.

Very important to note is that this bike is not classified as a sport bike by Rider's Plus insurance, therefore you can get very reasonable insurance on it.
Similar bike (2004 model with same mileage) but without any of the extras is listed on Auto Trader from a dealer for $8699, plus taxes. Mine is deeply discounted, plus only pay one tax.
But what I've always really hated is seeing people who aren't mechanically inclined or are new to riding, particularly women, get ripped off by some sleazy salesman, repair shop, curbsider or greedy individual. People should be encouraged and mentored, not mistreated by those within the industry and potentially turned off riding.
I can also advise you on a wide variety of riding related subjects. Such as which bike or scooter is best suited for your needs and experience level. For instance; DO NOT let your ego or your friends push you into buying a high-powered sportbike or heavy cruiser if you're not ready. Bikes and scooters are not toys. You can get hurt very easily if you are not extremely careful at all times.

Just came back from a Quebec City-Boston-Toronto Run, Port Dover, still riding it when the weather co-operates.
It is in fantastic condition and runs perfect. I just replaced the batteries last week and have the receipt to prove it ($255 for the pair).
The batteries will now be good for a couple of years. The scooter comes with a charger for recharging the batteries.
The great thing about this scooter VS others out there is the simplicity of servicing it.
Unlike other mobility scooter this scoter provides easy access to batteries motor and all other components.
Before I purchased it, the following work was done:
New starter.
New fork seals.
Top end refresh.
New tires.
New rear wheel bearings.
Gas tank was cleaned of rust and coated.
Carb's replaced and rebuilt.
I had a new (used) speedometer put in and a new battery.
I have a medium sized closed-face helmet and a motorcycle rain/dust cover if you need these.
As I am leaving for Europe shortly, I would prefer to sell instead of storing, so this is your chance to get a good deal!

10,500km All maintenance up to date
Last year installed new CVT belt and Rollers and a heavier set of weights. As such it has more bottom end pickup then a stock Fly.
Brand new Pirelli rear tire, less than 400 km on it. New brake pads just installed.
Cosmetic damages: scratched side of top box and floor runner. Also missing left side front fender reflector.
I have been riding it constantly, thoroughly checked out for mechanical issues. Cosmetic Damage only. Reflected in Price.
Despite the scratches a beautifully running and looking Scooter and priced to move. Its never let me down. With the money you save you could get it repainted. This is the last year Made in Italy this model made in china since 2007.
