I'm looking to get a group of passionate individuals together who have experienced any type of mental illness either themselves or through someone they know.
I was living in BC for the past few years and was a part of a speakers bureau made up of young adults who shared their experiences to the community in order to break down that heavy stigma that is associated with mental health!!
The group ended up becoming quite successful and i would love to try and recreate that out here in Toronto and the surrronding areas!!!

I am contacting you because I want to start a group with people who feel they have a story to share. Perhaps a painful childhood memory, a form of abuse, or a recent event that is troubling you. It is meant to work as a form of therapeutical release. The people involved should be open, receptive, and hold a peaceful and respectful attitude. SOCCER PLAYERS NEEDED FOR MENS TEAM (downsview (The Hanger))

Me and some friends are putting together a tier 2/3 competitive indoor soccer team for winter 2012 session and we're coming up short on players. The session starts mid February and is guaranteed 12 games. We're shooting for a cost of $130 per person, and the more players we get the lower the cost will be. We feel 12 players plus goalie is a good size team. We currently have a goalie. We are all reasonably skilled players. If you've never played before, this will likely be too competitive for you, and it would likely be beneath you if you've been playing consistently since your youth (but we wouldn't mind having someone that skilled lol). we're all in our mid/late 20's - mid 30's FYI. any questions feel free to drop us a line. We need to register the team by next Wednesday (Feb 1st 2012).
