As part of the Moraine Lake Lodge fine dining team, you are responsible for food and guest service in the Walter Wilcox Dining Room. The main duties include; morning continental breakfast service, a la carte dinner and wine service, bussing of tables, cleanliness and organization of dining room, proper food handling procedures, up selling, following opening and closing procedures and providing a seamless guest experience.
We are looking for team members who are passionate about guest service, the beautiful outdoors and wanting a valuable hospitality experience. We provide excellent training, fun team member activities, and an opportunity to live, work, explore and play in Canada's Rocky Mountain National Parks.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 years of fine dining serving experience, with ProfiTech knowledge
* Wine service experience required,
* Must be 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive & upbeat personality,
* "Serving it Right" Certificate
* Previous tourism/hospitality experience, as asset,
* CPR and First Aid Certificate an asset,
* Second language is an asset.

Job Overview
The Department Manager achieves the Genuine Merchant Strategy by the efficient and effective management of their department. Customer Service

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Post secondary education and a minimum of 3 years of Food Retail Experience
Graduate of Longos College or Department Management Training Program or equivalent external training
Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Assistant Department Manager or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of sales/margin calculations, product mix and consumer behaviours with a proven track record of delivering on financial targets
A clean record of performance with no performance or conduct issues within the past two (2) years
Appropriate knowledge of maintenance and care of equipment, materials and supplies
Good computer skills (Internet, Microsoft Office)
Knowledge of Employment Standards, WHMIS, Food Safety and Loss Prevention practices
Knowledge of temperature control, merchandising and cross-merchandising techniques etc
