You will have a proven track record of sales, and sales management in the area of skin/hair care (manufacturer or distributer). You will have 2-3 years of field sales experience which includes cold calling and opening accounts with spas, boutiques, and other skin/hair care accounts. This experience requires that you also have experience coaching/mentoring sales people.
Your experience coaching/mentoring sales staff is necessary to take responsibility for our sales team of 8 sales professionals and 1 support. You will work with management to develop sales strategies, set targets and drive sales objectives. You will mentor the sales team to up sell/expand sales and service established accounts and cold call to drive new sales forward. You will be required to hire, coach and mentor when needed. You will also draw on your experience to provide and analyze sales reports, while maintaining departmental budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Field sales, cold calling experience in opening new accounts in the area of skin or hair care -- accounts such as spas, boutiques necessary
• Experience with spas, boutiques as well as other retail environments
• Lead generation experience
• Experience coaching/mentoring junior or new sales people
• Sales management -- managing/mentoring a sales team beneficial
• Willingness to travel by car, air -- overnight and some weekends
Education and Experience:
You will have proven sales, cold calling, sales management and lead generation experience, with at least 3 years of this, in skin, hair care and spas and boutique accounts. Preference will be given to candidates that are bilingual, and have a university degree. You should have some experience coaching, team building, and have a hands-on management style.
