Pivotal Staffing is currently hiring for a Laboratory Technician to work for our client in Brampton, our client is a large roof coating and adhesive manufacturing company. General duties would include: QC testing, record keeping and management of retain sample program. Candidate will assist in Research and Development projects. Must have a chemical background and possess good communication skills. Computer skills are a definite asset. This nine month contract position is for a motivated individual interested in a hands on opportunity for both personal and industry development.
Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30Pm Monday to Friday.
Duties for Laboratory position:
Perform and/or oversee QC testing
Retain Sample Maintenance
Maintain Testing and Retain Records
Maintain General Housekeeping in Lab and Retain Storage Area
Assist in R&D projects
Requirements:
Technical Background (chemistry)
Good Communication and Organizational Skills
Good Computer Skills
