Responsibilities: <br>

- Provide, operate, maintain, and support all LAN/WAN services in an integrated and managed fashion across 11 sites<br>
- Plan and execute network changes<br>
- Act as a single point of accountability for the maintenance and operation of a reliable and efficient LAN/WAN network with associated network services (e.g., VOIP telephony, VPNs, etc.)<br>
- Assume responsibility for fault planning and emergency response<br>
- Manage, operate, and maintain a Cisco Unified Communications Manager VoIP telephone system<br>
- Manage, operate, and maintain switches (Nortel and HP), as well as firewalls and routers (Cisco and Vyatta).<br>
- Install technologies, policies, and procedures to monitor key performance and uptime metrics for the network and its constituent equipment<br>
- Implement, and maintain security standards and technologies to ensure the network provides a secure environment<br>
- Report on utilization trends, identify potential capacity issues, and develop as needed plans for improvement<br>
- Provide ad-hoc reports to business units as needed<br>

Note that some travel will be required.<br>

Requirements:<br>
<br>
- Postsecondary education with a focus on Computer Networking, Engineering or Computer Science<br>
- 2 to 5 years in a network administration role<br>
- Ability to work well with others and to participate effectively in group initiatives to support the achievement of common objectives<br>
- Ability to function well in a reactive mode, responding to technical problems with a sense of urgency as they arise<br>
- Ability to identify, articulate and troubleshoot technical problems in a "live environment" under quick deadlines and turnaround requirements<br>
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills<br>
- Good verbal and written communication skills<br>

Job Description<br>

Reports directly to the Sr. Manager - Enterprise Infrastructure Support and works under the general direction of the Team Lead, NOC and up line Production Coordinator. The incumbent operates the networked computing environment on a 7 x 24 rotational schedule. Analyzes and supports National Operations by controlling production applications monitoring system resources and response time and providing first line support for operational problems.<br>

Monitor & Support:<br>

 Monitor and manage batch jobs using Autosys <br>
 Monitor and manage alarms using BMC Event Management (BEM)<br>
 Manage Events and Incidents via BMC ARS Remedy <br>
 Monitor and manage the enterprise of networked computers and applications.<br>
 Participate in department initiatives, as well as special projects.<br>

Management:<br>
<br>
 Manage Remedy tickets for Batch and network problems and update problem status received from support groups.<br>
 Manage e-mail from Store Systems and manage Lockbox for emergency passwords.<br>

Documentation: <br>
<br>
 Register production events, incidents and changes using BMC ARS Remedy.<br>
 Execute escalation procedures, and maintain an accurate log of events during the shift.<br>
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date Operations documentation.<br>
 Maintain accurate Shift Logs and Shift Summary Report<br>

Job Qualifications<br>
	<br>
 Post-secondary education in Computer Science or relevant discipline. <br>
 Operational knowledge of Autosys (must have), Patrol, BMC Event Management (must have), Netbackup , Backup Exec and Crystal, Remedy (must have) and MS Office suite of products. <br>
 Work requires proficiency in the use of Desktop/Laptop and Microsoft suite of products. <br>

Skills Required:<br>
<br>
 Ability to work effectively during times of crisis or stress.<br>
 Effective verbal and written communication skills.<br>
 Individual is required to work 12 hour shifts, including overnight and weekend shifts.<br>

POSITION DUTIES:<br>

§  Monitor security solutions to ensure compliane with the corporate IT Use Policy;<br>

§  Participate on the incident response team, when required, to analyze the incident, prepare a plan of action and aid in resolving the issue;<br>

§  Participate on project teams as a IT security SME  to assist in the research, selection, evaluation and implementation of technology solutions towards ensuring the protection of the Corporate computing environment;<br>
<br>
§  Administer and maintain corporate Active Directory;<br>
<br>
§  Administer and maintain corporate Exchange servers;<br>
<br>
§  Administer and maintain PeopleSoft security for Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and Financials as well as other business applications;<br>
<br>
§  Provide administration support to the Network and Technical Services staff in maintaining the day to day operations of the computing environment;<br>
<br>
§  Maintain statistics on type and volume of activities executed, logging and tracking all administration requests; and<br>

Job Purpose:<br>
Responsibilities include planning, design, and implementation of large-scale enterprise management and/or monitoring solutions based on the Microsoft System Center Suite, including on-site technical support and implementation of SCCM and SCOM solutions. The successful candidate will be capable of providing field technical support presence and act as the primary onsite technical contact, providing customer visibility, architecture & design recommendations, implementation services, advanced technical troubleshooting support and problem resolution for corporate customers.<br>

Job Duties:<br>
 Plan, design and implement, large-scale enterprise management and/or monitoring solutions based on the Microsoft System Centre Suite.<br>

Able to troubleshoot all aspects of SCCM effectively and understand the product flow patch management, software distribution and logging in detail. <br>
Have similar skills in SMS 2003<br>
Superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007<br>
Effectively and understand SCOM product configuration, flow and logging in detail. The candidate should understand fully the base OS and SCOM Management Packs and be able to discuss in detail at least one of the following Management Packs: Active Directory, Exchange, IIS or SQL including configuration, tuning and customization.<br>
Secondary expertise in at least one of the following: Windows desktop Operating Systems, Windows server Operating Systems, SQL- both management and querying, IIS. <br>

Assets:<br>
