As a Store Manager you will be reporting to the District Manager and be responsible for the complete operation of a retail store:

Sales Budget
• You are responsible for achieving sales budgets through execution of company standards, policies and procedures at your olsen Europe store
• Set store goals and sales goals for staff daily and monitor performance of the team versus goals

Wage Budget
• Maximize sales through constant monitoring and properly utilizing the hours in a productive manner on each schedule

Customer Satisfaction
• Ensure that customer loyalty is built and maintained by providing the ultimate shopping experience and by resolving customer issues or complaints in a timely and positive manner

Leadership/ Role Model
• Act as a mentor to all members of the team and strive to provide staff with the direction and support they need to achieve their goals and objectives
• Foster motivation and enthusiasm from the team to create a fun environment for associates to work in

Recruitment
• Proactively seek out qualified candidates for existing or potential positions
• Maintain a professional image as a recruiter by adhering to appropriate interview etiquette and guidelines as well as presenting the company effectively to prospective candidates

Staff Development
• Provide product knowledge training to new and existing staff on an ongoing basis
• Provide ongoing selling skills coaching and development based on each staff member's individual strengths and weaknesses in order to achieve their personal sales goals

Employee Performance and Productivity Management
• Monitor and analyze productivity utilizing available tools; following all Human Rights and Labour Standards
• Establish appropriate action plans to improve each individual's performance and productivity

Visual Presentation
• Consistently implement visual directives as required
• Ensure that the store is visually appealing and achieves company standards including housekeeping and maintenance

Merchandise Management
• Proactively communicate merchandise needs through communication with District Manager and Home Office to achieve the best possible product mix, balance of inventory, and stock levels

Operations/ Administration
• Follow all operational policies and procedures to ensure optimal operation of the store
• Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Adhere to all Provincial/ State Privacy Regulations

Loss Prevention
• Ensure all loss prevention policies are adhered to by management and staff as per guidelines and policies
• Manage and attend all inventory counts

Your competencies (knowledge, skills, attributes, traits) and qualifications
• Team oriented leadership style and ability to manage diverse work groups
• Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills
• Advanced decision making and problem resolution skills
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
• Management experience in a fashion retail environment
