At what stage does exaggeration turn to lies?
To say that I will love you `till the end of time.
A Lie by any name is still a Lie.
Adulation must have licence to survive.

In future should your solid truth be tested.
Lie or deceive ? Opinion is requested.
The gilt- edged way redemption can be blessed.
The Lie, by no means ever worth accepting.

A Liar still wants everyone to tell the truth,
Based upon that, since ,if everyone was to lie,
No one would believe anything that anyone said.
Lies because of that fact,would no longer be affective.

There is a Law of Non-Contradiction I am told.
The Snow is either White or Not White,
It cannot be White and not white concurrently.
To act rationally is to abide by the law

I am a fine art nude photographer looking to expand my portfolio. I find the human body beautiful and look to find interesting ways to express the strength, softness, curves, lines, and expressions that are in each and anyone of us. You do not need to be an experience model. I�m looking for anyone who would be comfortable posing nude. I find most people are nervous at first however once they have remove their clothes the nerves fade away and most find it liberating.

I am offering $25 per hour, I don't make money off my shoots.

To answer a few questions off the top.
1) Yes your face will be in the photograph.
2) Yes this is a nude shoot which means no clothing....saying that we do start out with a few outfits and work into nude.
3) I am not shooting porn.

Mark Siddall Gallery is an artist-run fine art gallery that seeks to inspire a lively exchange of thoughtful and socially conscious ideas.

The gallery has a casual and friendly style and is concentrated on the exhibition and sale of the works of Mark Siddall, as well as those by other exhibiting artists.

The gallery is located North of Eglinton Ave. on Wynford Dr., just steps away from the Ontario Science Centre.

What we offer:

The gallery is open and staffed from Tuesday to Friday, 11 am. to 6 pm.; and on Saturday, from noon to 5 pm.
The gallery�s website announces current and upcoming exhibits, and indicates the month�s featured artists. The gallery also promotes new work via e-mail press releases, and will allow artists to take advantage of its mailing list if they elect to promote their work with direct-mail initiatives.
Although the gallery doesn�t pay promotional expenses, gallery staff dedicates a portion of its time to promoting the work of exhibiting artists.
If an artist wishes to hold an opening reception, the cost of the reception�and all expenses engaged to promote it�will be paid by the artist.
Artists showing with the gallery will enjoy considerable flexibility regarding what pieces are shown; however, the gallery reserves the right to refuse work its principals deem unacceptable due to content, quality, presentation or any other issue. Work must be presented in a professional manner with ample space allotted for each piece presented. Gallery staff operates as senior curator for all works on display, in order to maintain a high level of quality and professionalism.

Methinks wants hot stocking stuffers and other artist-made gifts for its 2nd annual Holiday Popup Art Shop: a conceptual art showroom installation.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE

ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project will take the form of the inside of a large-scale Chris�mas stocking. Think: Alice In Wonderland meets Santa�s Workshop meets Tom Waits as a gingerbread man lost in the Land of Misfit Toys. It will happen at Project 165 in Kensington Market, where there is lost of holiday shopping traffic outside beautiful street-level display windows. This is a great opportunity for sales and exposure.

DATES OF POPUP SHOP
The project will run Dec 10 - 31, with day and evening hours.

* There will be an opening reception on Dec 10 with hot chocolate, marshmallows, cozy sweaters and a live auction.

HOW TO APPLY

Provide up to five low-res images or a website link to the work you wish to submit (or similar work). If your work is selected, a $15 administration fee applies. I'm a painter (abstract, acrylics) and poet here in North York. I just started painting 2 years ago and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, none of my friends share my passion for the Arts. I have a wonderful photo studio located in downtown Toronto at Queen & Bathurst. Three days a week (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) I use it for my own projects, but the rest of the week it's just sitting around unused. Which is a real shame, as it's a great place to work, and so I am making it available for other artists to use.

The studio consists of a large, 300 sq.ft. room with various walls painted different colours for shooting against: Dark Red, Black, Light Blue, Bright Yellow and Pink. Throughout the rest of the building are all sorts of other interesting places to shoot including: The Back Door, The Alcove, The Windowsill and The Landing.

The studio also contains two large softboxes and an assortment stools, boxes, a couch and several bathrooms which can be used for changing.

RATES:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - $90/day (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
-for these days, a reduced rate of $70/day for two or more consecutive days.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday - $20/hour, 2-hour minimum (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

VIEWING:
The studio can be viewed prior to booking ONLY on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays.

I'm 24, an amatuer rapper who's loved the music since 12, I dream of being a pro but am no where near that right now!!!

I can't make noise at home and my skills producing on Garage Band suck, I wanna write and record. I wanna work with a producer who needs an artist and wants to develop together with the mindset of a pro.

I don't have money to blow on pro recording though. I just want someone with a mic in their basement who can make a chorus sound good and add basic effects to a track. Perhaps you make beats but if not I'd love to do mixtapes using well known tracks.

My favorite rappers are Tupac, Jay-z, Wayne and many others, some conscious non commercial stuff is cool too

I've been someone who's done life drawing off and on for quite a few years... and I would like some advice on how to make prints of my work so I could sell them. I was in England a number of years ago, and someone there was doing this exact thing. The pieces are typically 8 1/2 imches by 11 inches.

Jobs have been hard to get, and this might be the only way for me to make a few bucks. Any quick suggestions as to what you may have done in similar circumstances will be valuable, I presume there are better alternatives than going to Kinkos and get regular photocopies.

My work is based on the immediacy of visual information, as provided by the infinite depth of the internet.

I have many drawings that are composed of one element, that I would like to exchange with you through the mail.

I am renting out a small artistic studio space in the heart of downtown, and close to many amenities (Coffee shops, restaurants, bars, stores etc).

Since I am not using it during the day or Sundays currently, I am looking for someone who can help me out with rent that can make use of it during these hours. Ideal candidates will be artists, photographers, or graphic designers / computer programers.

I am equiping it with a couple lights but you will need to bring your own camera equipment and if you need specialty lights or more then that will be up to you.

Take it every weekday from 6AM - 6PM for only $350.00 / Month (Approx 20/month thats less then $20.00 / day)
Take the studio for every Sunday 6AM - Midnight (or so if needed) for only $250.00 / Month
*** If you ever need it for any other day or time we can work out cheaper rates then below for full time renters.

Daily 6AM to 6PM $50.00 per day or if you need a more regular space, then pay only $200.00 for 5 days (daily & weekley is depending on avalibility or until I find someone to take it full days)
Evenings (When avalible) 6PM - Midnight (approx) $60.00 per night or 3 nights for $120.00.
Saturdays 6AM - 6PM $75.00 & Evenings 6PM To Midnight $80.00.

For any artists interested in participating in video/ installation/multi-media art are also very welcome. 2 artists maximum.

�WORKING WITH AND FINISHING PHOTO / ART WORKS WITH EPOXY RESIN�

You�ve seen �that look� on artworks in galleries and elsewhere. That thick, glassy, laminated finish that makes the artwork �pop out� almost as if it�s illuminated from behind. Though somewhat simple to prepare and use, there are many factors involved into creating a suitable finish for your photographs, painting, collage and other artworks. There is NOT a lot of information out there and you will save yourself a lot of trial and error in this informative, practical workshop. You will be working with the artist on a production art piece. These techniques are ideally suited for photographers and all visual artists. We have learned quite a few tricks and tips...especially what papers and mounting processes are involved. WE have also phased out using any aerosols, to make resin coating as environmental and healthy as possible.

This workshop consists of one (approx.) three hour session .Handouts and product listings are provided.The classes take place at the LENS FACTORY gallery. Light snacks and refreshments provided.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:

Proper mounting techniques and preparing artworks for resin coating. All the necessary tools and where to get them cheap. Application techniques and secret techniques for �bubble removal�. Refining, sanding and further finishing of dried artwork. How to fix mistakes and other problems.

�Leonard was thoroughly informative with his hands on approach to the workshop. It was more than that though, it was an artistic experience- being surrounded by the art in the gallery, and to then be a part of the process of creating gallery standard work was inspiring and confidence building. The Epoxy Resin class was not only a concise step by step process, but it made the once daunting task seem manageable, it allowed us to learn how to overcome creative obstacles with an industry professional.� �Colt Iggulden, T.V. production and Visual Artist
